JKA Parents

JKA Child Development wants parents and families to get involved and to be a part of their child's school experience. We have noticed that when parents, families and teachers are willing to work together as a whole and to use positive interactions between us, then we have a better school with children who thrive from people working together to make JKA a better place for the children to "Learn & Grow". Our school has many opportunities for parents to participate and to stay involved and to have a "say" on what goes on in their child's program.

Parents are encouraged to:

  • Give suggestions and/or ideas
  • Talk with teachers on your child's progress
  • Attend school functions
  • Volunteer to chaperon on field trips
  • Use our "Open Door Policy"
  • Read bulletin boards, newsletters and other notices in your child's classroom
  • Donate to your childs classroom
  • Stay informed- read newsletters / calendars / daily reports
